Jump Partner Program — Terms of Use

Legal Entity: Jump Shops, Inc. (“Jump”, “we”, “us”, or “our”)These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your participation in the Jump Partner Program (“Program”).
By enrolling and participating, you (“Partner”) agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Program Overview
The Jump Partner Program allows approved partners to earn recurring commissions by referring merchants who install and subscribe to a paid Jump plan. This program is administered by Jump Shops, Inc., a U.S.-based company.
2. Commission Structure
Partners are eligible to earn recurring commissions based on the number of active paying merchants they refer:
- 10% for 1–9 active paying referrals
- 15% for 10–19 active paying referrals
- 20% for 20 or more active paying referrals
“Lifetime” means for as long as the referred merchant maintains an active, paid subscription and the Partner remains in good standing under these Terms.
-Commissions apply only to Jump subscription fees (e.g., $45/mo, $99/mo, etc.).
-Commissions do not apply to merchant sales volume, GMV, or any transaction-related revenue.
-Commissions are calculated based on net subscription payments received, excluding free trials, discounts, or failed charges.
-Payouts are issued monthly via PayPal, at the end of each calendar month, and typically processed within 5–10 business days.
3. Eligibility & Activity Requirements
To qualify for payouts and retain commission eligibility:
-You must refer a minimum of two (2) active paying merchants.
-You must refer at least one (1) new paying merchant every six (6) months to keep your commissions active.
-You must submit a valid W-9 (for U.S. persons) or W-8BEN (for non-U.S. persons) once you reach $600 USD in cumulative payouts. Failure to submit required tax documentation will result in withheld payments and may lead to removal from the program.
4. Consent Requirements (Shopify Experts and Agencies)
If you have administrative access to a merchant’s Shopify store (e.g., as a developer, agency, or staff member), you must:
-Obtain written consent from the merchant before installing the Jump app or subscribing them to any paid plan.
-Ensure the merchant understands Jump’s pricing, billing terms, and product features.
-Never install Jump or subscribe a store without the merchant’s clear and documented approval.
Violation of this section will result in immediate removal from the Program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
5. Referral Attribution
Jump does not currently use affiliate links for tracking referrals.To receive credit for a referral, you must:
1. Email us at info@jump.shops with the merchant’s name, Shopify store URL, and confirmation that you initiated or managed the referral
OR
2. Schedule a demo call for the merchant with Jump, which results in a paid subscription
You must submit referral claims before or within 7 days of the merchant’s subscription date to be eligible for commission.
Referrals submitted after that window may be disqualified.
Referral attribution is awarded on a first-reported, verified basis and is subject to Jump’s discretion.
6. Commission Payment Terms
-Commissions begin only after the merchant completes their first successful payment for a paid Jump plan.
-No commissions are paid for time spent in free trials.
-Commissions apply only to Jump subscription revenue — not GMV, affiliate earnings, or e-commerce transactions.
-Payouts are processed via PayPal each month for successfully collected subscription payments.
-If a merchant cancels, commissions on that subscription will cease.Jump reserves the right to review and audit all referrals and commission claims for accuracy and fraud prevention.
7. Prohibited Conduct
By joining the Program, you agree not to:
-Refer yourself or any store/entity you control without prior written approval
-Misrepresent Jump’s product, pricing, or affiliation
-Use unauthorized paid advertising targeting Jump’s branded keywords
-Submit fraudulent or fictitious merchant referrals
-Harass, threaten, or use excessive or abusive communication toward Jump staff or affiliates
-Engage in spam or unauthorized outreach
-Refuse to submit W-9/W-8BEN documentation when required
-Excessive outreach is defined as unreasonably frequent, demanding, or disruptive communications that interfere with Jump operations or staff productivity.
8. Termination & Forfeiture of Commissions
Jump Shops, Inc. reserves the right to terminate or suspend your participation in the Program at any time, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include but are not limited to:
-Violation of these Terms
-Fraudulent or deceptive behavior
-Unauthorized installations or subscriptions
-Failure to submit tax documentationInactivity for twelve (12) months or more
-Harassment or excessive demands made to Jump staffUpon termination, all unpaid and future commissions will be forfeited. Jump Shops, Inc. shall not be liable for any lost commissions resulting from termination due to violations, noncompliance, or partner misconduct.
9. Independent Contractor Status
You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and not an employee, representative, or agent of Jump Shops, Inc. You are solely responsible for any tax obligations related to your commissions.
10. Modifications to Terms
Jump may update these Terms at any time. All changes will be posted on this page with at least 14 days’ notice. Continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State], without regard to conflict of law principles.
